We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Application Scientist to join our team and contribute to our quantum computing solutions.
Position Overview
As an Application Scientist at QuantrolOx, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with our customers for consulting and support. This customer-facing position will also require you to offer valuable feedback to our product development team, set up experiments in our state-of-the-art development lab, and assist customers with software installation in their own labs.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs, challenges and requirements.
- Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Gather feedback from customers about their experiences with our automation software.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to convey customer feedback and contribute to product enhancement.
- Design, set up, and conduct experiments in our cutting-edge development lab to validate and refine our quantum computing automation solutions.
- Thoroughly document experimental procedures and results for internal reference and customer support.
- Assist customers in the installation and configuration of our quantum computing automation software and within their lab environments.
- Deliver comprehensive training and support to customers to ensure effective utilization of our automation solutions.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. in physics, preferable with postdoc experience with superconducting qubits, or related areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in experimental setup and execution within the realm of quantum computing or closely related fields.
- Proficiency in programming and familiarity with quantum computing software frameworks.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate customer interactions and convey feedback effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role or providing technical support is advantageous.
