RAQS QUANTUM TO BRING QUANTROLOX’S QUANTUM EDGE ACADEMY AND THE AUTOMATED QUANTUM CONTROL SOLUTIONS TO ASIA PACIFIC

Announcing on the sidelines of GITEX Asia, QuantrolOx, a European company that develops Quantum EDGE – a measurement and automation platform for quantum hardware, along with Quantum EDGE Academy for training future quantum engineers has partnered with RAQS Quantum, a Singapore-based quantum applications startup to bring these solutions to the Asia Pacific region. Together, these products help teams move from slow, manual workflows to fast, automated quantum R&D.

Under the agreement, RAQS Quantum will support regional integration and commercial deployment of QuantrolOx’s Quantum EDGE platform, focusing initially on the Asia Pacific region. The collaboration is intended to support research institutions, national quantum initiatives, and enterprise teams working to scale quantum hardware beyond laboratory experimentation.

Quantum control and calibration remain key bottlenecks in the development of scalable quantum systems. QuantrolOx sits in the control and automation layer of the quantum stack, between the QPU, control electronics, and experiment logic. Quantum EDGE unifies automation, measurement, and data management, integrating out-of-the-box with leading control stacks and multiple QPU architectures.

This positions QuantrolOx as a key enabler for scalable quantum computing across academia, industry, and national programmes. Universities, national labs, quantum hardware startups, and industrial R&D teams work with QuantrolOx to accelerate quantum R&D, build open-architecture testbeds, or scale quantum training. QuantrolOx also partners with QPU and control-electronics providers to deliver end-to-end, automation-ready quantum solutions.

The partnership will focus on integrating these capabilities into existing and emerging quantum infrastructures in the region. Initial work will include deployment within research environments and government-supported programmes, with integration activities expected to begin in second half of 2026.

Governments and research institutions across Asia Pacific have increased investment in quantum education with a focus on building domestic capability in quantum computing and engineering. The introduction of this education offering and the automated control systems is expected to support these efforts by improving system stability, reducing operational complexity, and accelerating experimental workflows.
