We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Application Scientist to join our team and contribute to our quantum computing solutions.

Position Overview

As an Application Scientist at QuantrolOx, you will play a pivotal role in engaging with our customers for consulting and support. This customer-facing position will also require you to offer valuable feedback to our product development team, set up experiments in our state-of-the-art development lab, and assist customers with software installation in their own labs.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with customers, understanding their unique needs, challenges and requirements.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Gather feedback from customers about their experiences with our automation software.
• Collaborate closely with the product development team to convey customer feedback and contribute to product enhancement.
• Design, set up, and conduct experiments in our cutting-edge development lab to validate and refine our quantum computing automation solutions.
• Thoroughly document experimental procedures and results for internal reference and customer support.
• Assist customers in the installation and configuration of our quantum computing automation software and within their lab environments.
• Deliver comprehensive training and support to customers to ensure effective utilization of our automation solutions.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in physics, preferable with postdoc experience with superconducting qubits, or related areas.
• Demonstrated expertise in experimental setup and execution within the realm of quantum computing or closely related fields.
• Proficiency in programming and familiarity with quantum computing software frameworks.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate customer interactions and convey feedback effectively.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role or providing technical support is advantageous.

QuantrolOx is a leader in qubit automation software. We are on a mission to accelerate the path to useful quantum computing.

Our software Quantum EDGE, has already set a new industry benchmark by achieving fully automated quantum processing unit (QPU) characterisation and tune-up, creating a two-qubit gate in under 25 minutes – a task that previously required up to a week from several PhD-level experts. By enabling thousands of iterative development cycles per year – versus only a handful today – this breakthrough helps QPU developers accelerate the development of high-quality qubits essential for fault-tolerant quantum computers.

With the recent launch of Quantum EDGE SDK we have achieved another industry-first: The community can now run any library on any QPU using any control electronics, giving the community an unprecedented level of choice and driving the industry forward like never before.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and talented Vice President of Sales to join our team and contribute to our commercial success.

Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the sales organization to meet or exceed revenue targets and drive business growth. This role reports directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be operationally minded, a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and results-driven leader with a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement an effective B2B sales process.
• Lead and develop distributed sales teams to consistently achieve and exceed performance targets.
• Create transparency of sales performance through use of metrics and reporting.
• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
• Work with Business Development and Product Management to develop value propositions for various customer profiles.
• Support Business Development in developing a robust customer pipeline and new market opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and other customer facing teams to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction.
• Stay current with industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics or related; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a senior sales leadership role in B2B software sales.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment.
• Proven track record in complex solution selling, ideally involving software licensing or technical infrastructure.
• Experience with SaaS business models or High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments is a plus.
• Experience in the quantum computing industry, with understanding of the ecosystem and customer landscape is desirable.
• Strong leadership, people management, and coaching skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
